Saturday, August 18, 2007 Ouch is the feeling when I heard the fireworks and I was watching Life on Mars on my laptop. Luckily, it was a great episode, so I didn't feel that bitter about not going to the fireworks. But it's okay I guess. Watching it without someone special ain't half the experience of watching it with someone special. It's like, you know, you will always want to share a beautiful memory with someone else. But whatever, there's always the future to look forward to. Oh, wait. Life on Mars ain't some documentary about living on Mars in the future or something. It's a really nice British cop show with a twist. Won't spoil it for you, just go watch it if you're bored. Masters of Science Fiction is pretty good too. It's like a modern version of The Twilight Zone and Outerlimits. I like how they portrayed one of the characters in the first episode. A United States president, loses his memory, has an attention span of 40 minutes, mainly caused by the trauma of him causing a nuclear holocaust because he did not heed the advices of everyone. Sounds familiar? It may not have happened now, but it may happen in the future, God forbid. When the fate of so many rests in the hands of so few, can the failure to be accountable ever be forgiven?
