Suddenly, it seems like there is a deluge of projects to be submitted.

Yeah, typical fashion of me to start doing things when the projects' deadlines are next week, the last week of the semester. Yeah, suddenly school ends again. This semester really seems short, probably because of the fact that I don't attend any lectures, and rare any tutorials nowadays. It's only the practical classes that I go to because I have to. Practical classes consist of around a third of a module's hours, so it's really slack every week.

Which is probably why it's very difficult to start working hard again.

Nevertheless, what has to be done will be done, probably at the expense of sleep. Java, C & Linux projects to do; the Computer Science Technology option of this course doesn't seem as such a breeze any more.

I really want to catch The Simpsons Movie, having watched like almost every episode of the 18 seasons syndicated by Fox. But the deadlines... Sigh.

American cartoons really kill my productivity. The Simpsons, Futurama, Southpark, Family Guy, American Dad, I've probably watched every 20-minute episode of these series twice. If only I could channel that time into studying... Heh.

What to do, sticking to the same girl whom I've screwed up chances over and over again gives me too much free time. Way too much free time. ):

Last Saturday's post was because of the street soccer competitions. I've never felt so helpless watching my team go down without a fight, and even after going in at the second half, I wasn't able to do anything much. At least Thursday's loss at the campus wide competition was really because of the sheer slippery-ness of the court, which really sucked because my team that day relied on speed and obviously that aspect did not help on a slippery court. But Saturday's loss was really inexplicable, and I really felt fscking sad.

Maybe it's because those games screwed up my cardio training too. Skipping HIIT for a measly few minutes on the court because we keep getting kicked out early. ):

I've not felt this sad for a long time, and no, it's not over love.

I hate it when people make a mockery out of the Beautiful Game.

Granted, rough play cannot be avoided in football, but you don't fucking go for every single part of a person's body except the ball every time you try to tackle.

When other players try to wind me up, violence rears its ugly head and I play dirty too. Most of the time even dirtier than them. I seriously do not enjoy making a mockery out of the game too, but yet they force me.

You may ask me to play fair, play with flair and beat them using our skills. But when you see your team-mate fucking fouled to the extent of having to leave the court with his mouth full of blood dripping, you really get riled up.

I don't mind losing if our opponents really beat us with skill, but I fucking hate to lose to opponents who are fucking lousy actually and need to push and pull us every single time we have the ball.

Well, fuck that cause we beat those assholes, and we could have won by a much higher margin had we taken our chances better at times.

The refereeing was atrocious too, but I don't really want to blame those amateurs. I wonder how I gave away a foul when I back-flipped when two opponents pushed me. Wow.

But I still have to thank my team-mates for contributing to this victory.

Thanks to Steven who managed to keep out many shots,

Thanks to Waiyan who bravely went for a challenge and had to get hurt in the process,

Thanks to Marcus for getting two goals,

Thanks to Toktong for defending when the rest of us were tired,

Thanks to Junzhang who was understanding enough to sit the game out.

Well, I guess there's tomorrow's different tournament to look forward to, and Saturdays continuation of today's tournament.

I just hope the future games won't be like a fucking war-zone any more.

I am sad today because yesterday was beautiful.

I guess that is a consolation, because if I wasn't sad at all, it shows that yesterday wasn't beautiful. And maybe I should be thankful that I've ever lived through a beautiful day.

In the blink of an eye, it's gonna be National Day soon. I wonder if they have the Fireworks Festival this year?

I remember watching the festival last year, all four shows. Many things happened during this period of time, some nice, some awful.

Time just keeps on slipping away. Sometimes, it felt like yesterday that I last saw that smile, but wow, it's already been more than seven months.

I'm so silly. ): But you ever told me to wait on that balonglong tree, what.

I'm so exhausted. I don't like Thursdays. ):

Schools should ban 8 o'clock classes. Youth these days don't like to wake up so early. I know it best. ):

Smile a little smile for me (:
I miss how that brightened my days.

Hmm.. I realised that some answers in the test I posted up that night were wrong, and some questions were unfair for people who knew me after secondary school, and some questions were pretty a give-away. Like that how many different Disneyland question, and I still put 0 and 1 as answers.

So, I deleted all the scores and you can redo it again. What fun. :P

Don't blame me, it was 3 in the morning when I did that up the previous time.

Thanks for the efforts though.

Do it again here: http://www.truefriendtest.com/friendtest/748109

EDIT: By the way, I noticed that almost everyone put "Was I ever happy?" as the answer for one of the questions. I was ever happy lah.. Even though the first time I set the quiz I put the answer wrongly. Give my happiness more credit!

Yay. Our team topped the table and we are through to the next round of the competition. I guess we did pretty well considering that I've never played with those guys before. We'd have had all 9 points if not for some bad luck in the first game though. ):

Who wants to read some Harry Potter?

They say this is the leaked version, but I am not sure since I've not read any of the books. Probably it's fake though, but if you want to try go here: http://deathly.hallows.leaked.pdf.googlepages.com/home

I may be a fscking loser in life but I really need to stop applying that aspect to my football. Fuck.

The whole team played badly, but that's not excuse for me passing when I should have been shooting. I fucking need to get my confidence and mentality back. What was I thinking?

I can find a million scapegoats for what happened. Crappy pitch, new players, fatigue from the morning's game, mentally unprepared, etcetera. But I really just have to accept that I wasn't focused enough, and I did not do well enough today.

Well, I should just fuck it and get back that fearlessness and arrogance.

Songs from the 80's are so cheery and nice! Many of them have really corny lyrics, but listening to them really perks me up.

And seriously, you guys need to stop that calling us up for football and not turning up. This is the 3rd time it has happened today, and while I respect that you may be tired from serving our country, maybe you guys need to exercise a little thing called knowing your limits. If you're really, really tired and know you cannot make it, it's okay if we don't play. While we can just mix around with the occasional non-pussy public players, the best thing's still to play with your own team. And sleeping past four in the morning when you called for football in the morning is simply irresponsible, to be frank. If you knew you would not be able to wake up in the morning, you could always contact us beforehand and we can just cancel the whole damn thing.

Granted, I don't really mind practising stuff around in the courts, but the experience of playing with you guys is what I really miss and want.

Crunch match tomorrow! Really hope the opponents show up this time round. Last week I had the pleasure of taking a bus ride more than an hour to Tampines just to learn that our opponents are not turning up. And they requested to play in the east. Bastards.

So, the petrol station near my home has completed its renovations. It's now a 7-11 instead of that old Shell mart thingy, and it now stocks an assortment of soft and hard liquor.

But damn it that I've already stopped imbibing any alcohol for months and not intending to touch any for no good reason. Why? Imagine calling the girl of your dreams someone while totally drunk and uttering nonsense in front of your friends and sibling. That's like one of the worst faux pas I've ever committed. ):

Transformers was pretty cool. It was the first movie I've watched in ages since I'm such an anti-social person. The ads placements in the movie were ridiculous! Real subtle advertising by Microsoft and Sprite, eh? And that Chevrolet logo appears for like 1201084312 times in the movie. Bah. At least it was cool.

CSW test tomorrow. One part of me wants to show the teacher that I can do well without her fscking help, but yet another part of me is really lazy. Yea, yea, I don't like her because she did not take my attendance because I was missing half the lesson to eat breakfast and avoid doing work. ):

Anyway, on the subject of Transformers, look how David Letterman plugs an Optimus Prime toy. Hilarious! Link here: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/prime-the-pump/letterman-jerks-off-optimus-prime-276731.php?autoplay=true

Realisation sank in after two days.

I think top blogger is that guy we used to imitate for being effeminate! You know, that waiter in the Wheelock NYDC branch.

I think so lah.

Oops.

"This is absurd! Fill this up!", the teacher yelled. "Why haven't you done your corrections in the correct coloured pen? FILL THIS UP!!", he continued.

Those who studied in Zhonghua and was around the same batch may have remembered this scene playing out almost everyday. Yeah, Mr Philip Yeo and his obsessive-compulsiveness with our mathematics work.

Click on thumbnail to read the news report.

Some of you may remember reading about a news report about a reckless driver driving 200 metres while a man was hanging on his car bonnet. Just click on the picture above to read about the details. I remember reading about it in The New Paper, and I was thinking why would someone be such an asshole and scratch another person's car for no rhyme or reason.

Little did I know, the culprit turned out to be a former teacher of mine. It makes me wonder how do schools screen teachers nowadays, and how someone with no respect for people's properties and people's lives could end up being a teacher. Luckily, no student ever incurred his wrath enough to be treated as dangerously as the poor man on the bonnet.

I used to think he was just a strict teacher, not someone with scant respect for anything. Having said all these, I would still say that I still have some respect left for him, since he was still a teacher of mine, and even though I failed mathematics in those years he taught me, I still learnt some things from him. Especially that "You know what those rabbits did on their wedding night!" part. Classic.

Still, 6 months in jail for a man of his age and girth would be terrible for him. Maybe it's just karma for the detention he gave everyone; now he's detained too. I wish him all the best.

I can finally sleep before four in the morning these few days, by forcing myself not to take afternoon naps. But I'm still feeling really, really fatigued these few days, and the HIIT just now really killed me.

Communication Skills for Work class tomorrow. What a waste of sleep. ):

And, by the way, Happy Independence Day to America!

Even though the ruling party currently sucks and should be impeached already or something, you're still my birthplace.

It's probably the only "diet" food that is nice.
